salzburg recital

Hi guys,


I guess I should deliver a bit of bad news and tell anyone who doesn't know
that the cd Bryce Morrison (no relation by the way, though I wish there was.
He's my favorite Gramophone reviewer) is no longer available.  As far as I
know, the only piece in print from that album is the extraordinary live
version of the Goldbergs.  If anyone knows how to get ahold of a copy of
that CD (SMK 53474) I would be very grateful.

Maybe all the member of the list should put on gould's version of
Beethoven's fourth piano concerto at the same time and lie back with the
headphones on and have a world wide....

well, never mind.  That might make a certain special someone jealous.


By the way, other gould recordings that give me that special feeling that
the reviewer of the beethoven concertos mentioned are the byrd/gibbons cd,
the sarabande from the first french suite, beethoven's pastoral sonata, the
first movemant of the 6th partita, and of course, the 55 and 59 goldbergs.
