i notice someone calls andras schiff "odious". it may be interesting to note
that schiff and peter serkin have released a cd "music for two pianos" on
ecm-new-series. it contains two fugues by mozart which are absolutely
amazing... i personally don't like schiffs recording of bach but i
appreciate others like his readings. it's all in the pedal for me - i don't
like pedals!! nevertheless, have you *seen* schiff playing bach - it is one
of the most beautiful things. his body movements and flowing arms...
