Two films about GG next Wednesday on TV

 Dear Fminors,

Margaret Collins has compiled Films and Videos about GG. You can find the list on the webiste of the National Library of Canada (most of you already know that)http://www.gould.nlc-bnc.ca/phase3/efilm.htm

This is not new, what is new is that those Fminors who live in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany or Austria will have the opportunity on next Wednesday October 2, at 21:45 (GMT +01:00 Copenhagen, Brussels) to watch (and to record!) the following films on ARTE TV:

TitleGlenn Gould:  Off the Record
Publisher:  National Film Board of Canada, 1960
Notes:  30 minutes, black and white, in English, documentary profile of Glenn Gould.

TitleGlenn Gould:  On the Record
Publisher:  National Film Board of Canada, 1960

I enclose the link of ARTE TV: http://www.arte-tv.com/dossier/dossier.jsp?refresh=false&node=42993&lang=fr

I don't know if ARTE TV is available on USA and Canada via satellite...

Let me refer back to Margaret Collins list. There is an important and marvelous documentary about Glenn Gould which is not listed. Here the reference:

Notes: 60 min., colour and B&W in english and hungrish subtitled in catalan language. It contains an interview with Zoltan Kocsis about GG.
Manuel Huerga: Was born in Barcelona in 1957. He was the director of the opening and closing ceremonies during Barcelona's Olimpic Games in 1992.

Hope this was interesting for you,

Lluís
