Someone recently wrote in to rec.music.classical that "Glenn
Gould playing Scriabin is like setting the Pope loose in a room
with Anna Nicole Smith."
Maybe I'm dense, but I don't get the joke... (However, I haven't
heard GG play Scriabin as yet.)
