Haven't heard of that, but some of Conlon Nancarrow's player piano studies
have passages that are that fast.
Speaking of those, have you heard Joanna Macgregor's recording? (Same
CD as her Art of Fugue.) I find them reasonably interesting, but I
guess Nancarrow's music just doesn't really reach me for whatever reason.
They are incredibly fast, though, no doubt about that.
