When I listened to Gould's playing of the fugues nos. 14 and 18 of the WTC-I, I noticed that he plays the final chords of boths fugues in minor, and not - according to my WTC edition - in major. Can somebody give me a reason why he ended these fugues (and perhaps others) with a minor triad? gr. T W
