Gould's Library

Dear f-minors,
Would any of you know if the contents of Gould's library, both his
books and his recordings, were catalogued and if that information is
available anywhere?
Also, does anyone besides myself remember Gould sometimes acting as
a replacement host on CBC radio music programmes? I remember that he
did a 2 week stint on the 4-6 afternoon show on CBC-FM back in the
summer of 1978. I very vividly recall his playing of the Bruckner
Quintet at that time and thinking that this was just his way of
outrageing us and keeping us guessing, but now I realize that it was
quite an important work for him. I think he might have acted as a host
for the morning show at some time also. If these programmes were still
in the CBC archives, it might be nice if the CBC could rebroadcast them
as part of their salute to Gould to coincide with the Conference in
September.
Finally, can you imagine Gould today driving a car equipped with a
CD player, a radio, a cellular phone and a lap top computer?
            Allan
